Turmeric

Native to India, turmeric is a perennial plant of the Zingiberacae family whose name comes from Sanskrti: kunkuma, meaning which gives color. Reduced into pieces, it is to be prepared as a hot drink such as herbal infusion. it delivers an orange-yellow liquor to the infusion, sweet and light, with a warm and slightly peppery flavor. Try it as a latte by infusing directly into milk!
