The production of this tea indicates 2 variations in comparison with the traditional Japanese method. The leaves are ‘fixed’ in the wok, Chinese fashion ; they are then rolled on the form of a comma. The resulting infusion is strongly aromatic, the aroma being both earthy and flowery.
