DARJEELING PHUGURI F.T.G.O.P. A SUBLIME SPRING HARVEST !
Located west of Darjeeling, next to the Nepalese border, the Phuguri tea garden is famous for the quality of its 1st flush.
On the 26th of March, 557 kg of fresh green leaves were harvested in order to obtain 100 kg of Darjeeling Tea. The leaves plucked were selected from the youngest tea trees.
The characteristic green almond aroma of a Darjeeling 1st flush is softened by subtle and long tasting flower notes.
The tea lovers will appreciate the mellow, delicate texture and the slight astringency of this remarkable tea.
