The Phuguri F.T.G.F.O.P, is a plantation in the south-west of Darjeeling. It produced once again this year, an extremely floral batch of tea, certainly one of the finest "clonal" first flushes seen in recent years. Harvested on 26 March 2016, it produces a medium-sweet, pale orange liquor with light astringency, typical of spring Darjeelings. Its delicate and silky notes and deliciously floral finish make it a noteworthy first flush tea.

The combination of alternating fog, mist and sunshine provides the Goomtee F.T.G.F.O.P the optimum conditions for the production of a superb Darjeeling. This tea, harvested on 14 March 2016, with beautiful finely rolled leaves, produces a pale green liquor with vegetal notes of still-green nuts and the subtle persistence of white flowers.
